TheAce

I don't know if this is the proper trope to use, but this troper would probably qualify. He always scored high on exams, and can pretty much master anything with ease due to him being a very quick learner with genius level intellect. Whenever his family/friends needed help with anything, they would ask him for it, and usually brought about success with minimal effort. Now, if only he weren't so lazy, he probably would've done even better. ^_^

#122802
My name is not small... ^_^

I'll be completely honest here, so bear with me. this troper knows he isn't anywhere NEAR the level of an Ace, but has made it his goal if life to eventually be one, major reason I'm a huge 'hero' fanboy and merely want to achieve this trope for the sake of it's coolness. FYI, while the above is a true heartfelt wish, I only bothered posting it in the first place to practice my editing. LONG LIVE TV TROPES! ^___^
#122804
I wish you luck, good sir! ^_^
#122805
Same for me. Not to get my butt off TV Tropes and back to work!
#122806
Me too! ^_^

This tuba player named David. Gets great grades, flirts with tons of girls (even those who aren't single), and is friends with everybody. My friends all love him, but I see him as an arrogant {{Marty Stu}}. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
#122808
Update: David has now stolen another guy's girlfriend.

This troper's main WorldOfWarcraft RP character occasionally strays into this territory. He's a human paladin (and that's already dangerous), ridiculously smart (yes, this troper can pull it off), extremely strong for being on the short side of average, and a ''handsome blue-eyed blond''. What drives him into Ace mode is that he has Social Anxiety Disorder, and thinks the only way he'll get any respect is by being the very best at everything. As a character, he's very heavily influenced by Ace Rimmer, actually. (Usually he just lives in BadassBookworm land, though.)
#122810
This troper has a friend who strays into Ace territory some times. Probably exemplified by several occasions, such as when the girl I had a crush on admitted to me that she had a crush on him out of nowhere (they are still toghether eight years later), and when I got a ninty-seven percent on my term paper and he got a ninety-eight.
#122811
Not me, but my brother. An organized list:
#122812
He's smarter than me.
#122813
He can do complex math problems in his head.
#122814
He's super-diligent about his homework.
#122815
He gets straight As.
#122816
He's funnier than me.
#122817
He's more creative.
#122818
He's wittier.
#122819
He's better at telling jokes.
#122820
He's very popular.
#122821
He has a very wide social circle.
#122822
He has friends over about half the time.
#122823
The other half, he's at their houses.
#122824
He's athletic.
#122825
He works out at the gym.
#122826
He's a soccer star.
#122827
He does situps and pushups before bed.
#122828
He's on the track team.
#122829
He's religious. (That's a good thing in my family.)
#122830
He attended Sunday and Hebrew school regularly.
#122831
He can speak and read Hebrew pretty fluently.
#122832
He had a traditional bar mitzvah.
#122833
He always wins arguments.
#122834
He's maddeningly calm and rational. (I tend to get tongue-tied and resort to "Well, you're stupid!")
#122835
He never gets stressed or angry or sad.
#122836
He does charity work regularly.
#122837
He's sort of a leader at the charity he volunteers at.
#122838
He has no mental disorders (in stark contrast with my plethora).
#122839
He used to be flat-out middle of every bell curve, which was bad enough since IJustWantToBeNormal.
#122840
He's a better actor than me, despite me being the aspiring actress.
#122841
He can improvise and memorize anything on the spot.
#122842
He can sing decently.
#122843
He's into science- and math-type subjects.
#122844
We're from a family of accountants, bankers, doctors...my preference for the arts puts me at odds with pretty much all my adult relatives, minus my paternal uncle (an artist, and therefore the ''other'' black sheep -- although he has actual talent).
#122845
He's into computer programming, which is what our dad does.
#122846
He's also pretty attractive. (I say this as his sister). His ''{{asexual|ity}}'' sister.)
#122847
His hair is scruffy; mine is frizzy.
#122848
He doesn't have the acne problems I have.
#122849
He's tanned; I'm pasty. (Although I don't mind being pale. Geek cred!)
#122850
So basically, he's the kind of guy that people can ''approve'' of. He impresses everyone he meets. (It says a lot about my relationship with my parents that I ''still'' find it easier to put up with him than with them.)
#122851
Subverted by This Troper. I think it's funny to act like I am this trope, the result being that most of my classmates actually believe me to be the Ace.
#122852
The exact same for This Troper, who probably was a minor BrokenAce in the past (put simply, he did very well in elementary, but on top of the typical bullying, never learned good social skills). He's neither now, and wishes he could be again.
#122853
This troper once had a one-sided rivalry with one dude that totally fits the bill for one. He's a NiceGuy who's athletic (he plays sports and walks home all the time), smart, hyperactive, charismatic, sensitive, handsome, jokey, kids love him, and he's very defensive of his friends. I hated the dude with a passion for no good reason. We actually more or less had a FriendlyEnemy relationship; I was the one who did the bullying, really. He didn't fight back at all and that allowed us to be friends... sometimes. Funny thing is, after hanging out for the first time in a long time, he actually thought that I was awesome because I drew better than him, finished college, more intelligent than he was, and at one point held a job (he's still at school, unemployed, and has a long way to go when it comes to drawing).

This troper has experienced 3 Aces, one at home, one at school, and one at work. They're all named Sara(h). They aren't all the same person, there's three different girls named Sara(h) who are Aces. This troper just can't win.
