TheSpock
#126621
This Troper, while not usually TheSpock at all (and often, a MoodSwinger), did have her moment, when a friend was telling her about an argument with a person she was carpooling with. #QUOTE#'''Friend:''' I promised myself I just wouldn't talk about politics. Then, when we got in the car, I started screaming at him and shaking and brought up the issue. I think he could tell I was crying. When he got out of the car, he called me crazy. #QUOTE#'''Troper:''' You were crying over an argument you didn't even want to start. And that's not crazy at all. #QUOTE#'''Friend:''' I know it's crazy, but it's real. It's real human emotion.

At that point, I had to {{lampshade}} with a "So you believe me to be unemotional? Thank you. Live long, and prosper."
#126623
This troper hasn't even ''seen'' {{Star Trek}} and she ''still'' laughed at that comment.

The same troper's teacher is a much better example. Let these quotes speak for themeslves: #QUOTE#'''Said teacher, about herself:''' I consider myself a very logical person. #QUOTE#'''A student, to said teacher:''' Do you have any emotions whatsoever other than cynicism?

She also says "Fascinating" a lot.

This Troper has a friend whose personality is a strange cocktail of Spock and Michael Cera. He is actively by many females at once.
#126627
Wait, "actively".... I think you're missing a verb there.
#126628
No, I think he means "He is continuously / purposefully near many females at once". So, he either has a harem, or is serial stalking various women's sports teams simultaneously. Go Spock?
#126629
This Troper has often been called this by her family members due to the fact that she is a very logical person whose default expression seems to perpetually be "Meh". She often mocks them by stating that their statements are "illogical". If she combines her Spock-ness with her snark, she can get herself in some very big trouble. Yet she tends to swing between TheSpock and TheMadHatter quite frequently...

This troper is almost the physical embodiment (but most certainly not the MoeAnthropomorphism) of this trope. Half the things that come out of her mouth are nigh-incomprehensible to most people due to her extensive vocabulary and complicated manner of speaking. She's also quite prone to mentally analyzing everything around her, people, objects, surroundings. Occasionally, these musing will accidentally be said out loud. That usually attracts 'WTF?!' expressions from whoever was in earshot.

I knew I wasn't the only one like this.
#126632
This Troper has Asperger's syndrome, and according to my friends, I alternate between being this and {{Adorkable}} depending on my enthusiasm about the topic of conversation. Just don't get me angry. I get...Strange when I'm angry. I also tend to say "Fascinating" a lot.

This troper's dad, oh so much. He's a freakin' genius who knows how to "work" people. He's basically the team logic, and while he has shades of AmbiguouslyAutistic (actually, he has ADD and bipolar), I have a lot of cases where I ask him why he didn't become a lawyer.

This Troper used to act like this, attempting to be perfectly logical and unaffected by emotion. Then he realized that a) he wasn't that good at it and b) it was boring anyways. He still ignores negative emotions like sadness or despair, but is more open to such explanations as "It seemed like a good idea at the time".
