This troper, when not being a nerd or a hippie activist, is this. I'd much rather hand out with dudes than with most women my age, I wrestle with my brothers from time to time, love dirty jokes, and my two favorite shows put out by MTV, to this day, are BeavisAndButthead and CelebrityDeathmatch. That said, one Ladette kept trying to portray herself as morally superior to this troper's traditional lifestyle and appearance. Didn't help that she was prone to encourage spoken-for men to believe that their lack of self-control was not morally wrong...Once the boys she ''could'' catch got through with her, she had no support left.

My nine-year-old niece is a Ladette in training. She's one half beautiful, fashion-conscious, young girl, one half Booger from RevengeOfTheNerds. She's awesome.

This troper is pretty much this trope to a T. Reasonably heavy drinker, could drink most of my mostly male friend group under the table, dresses in mostly guys clothes, has been known to be Anything That Moves, and have often been told by my few female friends that I have a guy's perspective on things.

Despite being a teenager who hasn't smoked, drank, or had sex, this troper considers herself to be a ladette. I can kick ass in video games, has male friends who she is not attracted to, loves punk rock music (especially Flogging Molly, This Troper's favorite band), curses frequently on the account that it's freedom of speech, and my favorite anime series that isn't D. Gray-man, Hetalia, or One Piece is Gintama, the most vulgar anime rated PG-14 ever.

This troper briefly had a fling with a girl who was a major ladette. A few of the more prominent points: she's a kung-fu expert, major hockey fan, punk rock fanatic, loves swords and guns, once considered going into the military, and loathes wearing dresses. She was also just an all around cool and kick ass person, and was a major geek and quite smart too.

My younger sister only hangs out with boys, never wears dresses except for formal occasions and only owns two, likes cargo pants and skateboard shoes, plays WorldOfWarcraft and about half of all the other video games in existence, is always being either silly to the point of rudeness or just plain ''rude'', and likes to try going without showers for as long as possible. But she really, really likes cute things.
