In my freshman year of college, I tried to ask out this girl. She said yes, until I told her I was 19. She was 23. Subverted in that I didn't know her age at the time, and I thought she knew my age already because my dorm is Freshman only, so I didn't feel the need to tell her beforehand.

This troper has had a thing for older women since he was in fifth grade, when he had a hot teacher who had a penchant for - and looked fantastic in - tight jeans. This was later reinforced by his sophomore English teacher, who was frequently propositioned by her male students, and by his first girlfriend, who was two years older than him and could easily pass as a twentysomething.
