This troper once had to deal with a truly spectacular example of this, combined with
aggressive idiocy, in World of Warcraft, in Blackrock Depths. Playing a mage, I said over the game's voice chat, "Don't shoot the sheep," in my deepest, firmest, clearest voice. I am a deep baritone, about the same range as Michael Dorn. Online, I drop my voice even further, and being a former choral singer, when I project, I ''project''. So, when we encounter the patrol, and I turn the medic into a sheep, what do they do? Shoot the sheep, causing him to turn back into a medic. After the second time they wiped, I explained, yet again, how to deal with a Blackrock Depths patrol: Incapacitate the medic (turn him into a sheep, in this case), concentrate attacks on the officer, then wipe out the soldiers, then finally attack the medic. So the next patrol we come across, they shoot the sheep. I opened a portal back to Ironforge.
