This troper once thought of writing a MegaCrossover fanfic where Ash Ketchum ended up becoming the most powerful character, being able to use any magic or pokemon attack that he's seen before. His weakness? Well, A: He's still gullible enough to fall for a PaperThinDisguise, B: Everyone else (including his allies) would rather use him as a human shield, and C: Unlike his GenreSavvy allies, he is extremely, EXTREMELY GenreBlind.

On a side note, I also created a character for an RPG I want to make someday who has blue hair, speaks with GratuitousJapanese, is a princess of a large and powerful empire, and has the "Mimic" ability with all-around decent stats. Throughout the game, she basically annoys the hell everyone else, who just keep her around because feel responsible for her they can't get her to leave them alone. Oh yes, and it turns out actually a clone of another character, except modified to be some sort of ultimate weapon. and to make matters worse, she to make a HeroicSacrifice at the end, despite everyone else begging her not to, which actually makes things worse. Of course, she turns out to be fine in the end :P

Yes, I like this trope. Do you have a problem with it?

This Troper always makes characters who are Parody Sues for the sole purpose of messing around with his friends, who pressure him to join their RPs. One is a stereotypical Knight in Shining Armour, the other is an IndianaJones wannabe. Basically, they spam their limit breaks, use game-breaking moves, and always act in an over-the-top manner. His friends still haven't figured out that the characters are satire...
#101059
Why does "spamming limit breaks" make me think of ''WIND SCAR!!!''?

This troper has a friend who, after reading the LXG MarySue Litmus Test, decided to write a story with a main character for whom the answer to every question would be yes. Just the Best Mary Sue Ever details the unspeakable beauty, tragic history, legendary sexual prowess, astonishing powers, and heartbreaking demise of Fellauroralisterinavetta Aanjulle O’Bamfwryter -- Nemo's niece, Jekyll's former nurse, and Gray's ex-lover, whom he dumped for Jack Sparrow.

This Troper has for a long time been writing and rewriting and rerewriting a Sailor Moon fanfic that presents a ParodySue he has dubbed "Deconstructing Sue" not so much for his abilities (he has exactly one metaphysical ability, and that's actually a total lack of metaphysical ability and bits), as for what happens to him. Most of the females fall in "love" with him: they keep trying to violently rape him. Most of the enemies decide to attack him: fortunately he's immune to energy drain, unfortunately not so much to energy blasts. The character frequently veers back and forth between brilliant subversions of the genre he's been forced to use to survive and apparent RageAgainstTheAuthor paranoia. He also provides occasional snarky commentary on those things you know must exist in the world of Sailor Moon, but that aren't mentioned, like the Sailorwatch blog.

This troper and her mom have a tradition of telling each other scary stories at a beach that they visit every now and then. One of the stories this troper told her mom recently was about a Disney pop star named "Morgan Oregon" with no talent who makes a DealWithTheDevil to make them super-popular and super-talented overnight, much like a certain character type we all know. The morning after making the deal with the devil, Morgan goes to the Disney recording studios and, while previously not able to play any instrument at any level of skill, starts to play a tuba and plays notes ''in the flute register'' (which this troper is aware is impossible), as well as ''multiple notes at once''. At that point, this troper's mom tried to get her to stop, because she feared that the story had suddenly turned from a scary story into Lestat. (Mom thinks that Lestat, whom this troper likes in spite of his sometimes {{jerkass}} behavior, is the most enormous MartyStu ever.) This troper really hoped that her mom would interpret the super-talent as a parody of MarySue, but apparently Morgan's ridiculous level of talent was a little irritating.

This troper has written a short ''Literature/{{Twilight}}'' fic titled "Eternal Dusk, aka A Fangirl's Dream, aka Best. Twilight. Fanfic. EVAR!!!", credited to his fake DistaffCounterpart. It centers around Cinderella Bloodfire Swan, Bella Swan's cousin, who is heterochromatic, half human, half werewolf, half angel, half demon, half dragon, and half megalodon. As a vampire, she has two abilities: Wolverine-inspired claws that are actually fangs, and the ability to The Abridged Series}} mind crush people (which she uses on Bella). All the vampires, except for Alice, fall in love with her. By the end of the story, there is an epic battle between Edward, Jacob, [[HarryPotter Sirius Black, Atem, Mako Tsunami, Sephiroth, and Phoenix Wright for her love, which causes Forks to blow up.]]

Digimon forum example: this in response to this after this editor's first character got stuck in But Your Character Is Too Original hell (the Parody Sue was accepted nigh-instantly; she originally carried a gun). I wrote her directly off the Common Mary Sue Traits page; can you tell?
#101065
Haven't done it, since I have yet to find the proper place, but I so want to create a 'short squat renegade dark-elf with hyper regeneration who uses twin scimitars implanted in his arms by Priestesses of Lolth' just so I can roleplay a Parody-Sue of two of the most Expyed Matry-Stus in [=RPG=]s. I've even used the Drow book for 3.5 to create a 'technically Drow' name for him 'Wahl Vahren' (means Dark Hunter or something like that).

This troper wrote an exercise for recognizing Mary Sues on Storm-Artists, using three characters for the Invader Zim fandom. The basic idea of the exercise is to figure out how many of the three are Mary Sues, which is of them. The exercise can be found here This troper has also had the idea to try to write the best story she can, using the worst character possible, and see how that would work out.

Well? Well?

This troper recently entered a fanart contest and created a Parody Sue just for the event. The kicker? Said Mary-Sue managed to worm her way into my original comic series and is going to be in one of the stories. It should be fun to watch, especially since the Sue is a definite example of the {{Most Common Superpower}}

The main character of this troper's puppet troop is kinda one of these, often parodying stereotypical teenage girls.

This troper wrote a short piece a while back parodying a FandomSpecificPlot in the ''LegendOfZelda'' fandom, specifically a fourth Triforce piece. It also provides the most horrific violation of ShowDontTell I've written since I was eleven, mountains of BeigeProse, {{Plot Hole}}s and {{Hand Wave}}s by the pound, a FauxActionGirl with InformedAttractiveness, a "plot" that goes absolutely nowhere, and an in-universe attempt at SuddenlySoulmates that drives Link to warp to Lake Hylia to get away. So...basically not much of a parody, except for the near-constant LampshadeHanging and the "heroine's" utter failure. {{YMMV}}, but here's the link for anyone curious.

My personal fiction character, Death Hand (No, not that one.), is essentially a videogame player character from a NintendoHard game in fiction form with a hint of DeadpanSnarker on the side. Sure he might be really good at fighting (he isn't all that interested in dating, though), but a rather severe drawback of his is that as he keeps doing well surviving without dying, the opposition he faces tends to scale up rather quickly (mostly in quantity, if not in strength as well) until they eventually (and inevitably) overwhelm him; Oh, and he tends to get his ass kicked... a lot. (In short, he isn't really all that invincible)

I once made an entire race of these, and it was incredibly entertaining (for me). You see: people grew tired of their perfection and, since they were practically immortals but had an assexual way of multiplying, new laws were created to torch them as a sport. The sues got their angst over being undesirables and the humans got satisfaction over their murderous desires, so everybody was happy.

TruthInTelivision: Anyone, like this troper, whose academic smarts don't make up for being essentially insane and creepy.
#101074
I made one of these just for fun: she can be seen here.

After this troper's class read TheGiver , we had to create a "perfect person." So, I invented Elizabeth Brown (i think that was her name) who was BFFS with everyone, hyperintelligent, neat, a poet, spoke perfect Chinese, was beautiful, and was working on a cure for cancer. And she loves puppies.

Hmmm, this troper is writing the story for a Fighting/RPG game, where there's a girl blatanly called Mindy Suey. As the characters represent specific legends, myths or concepts, she was bestowed the power of every Mary Sue on the world, to the point of altering the reality. Then she proceeds to hookup with the gullible DecoyProtagonist, until his right-hand man proceeds to engage her in a battle, and killing her, erasing her from the existence and memories of everyone in the proccess. As a character I intend to give her a mirror move of every single character on the game. What do you think everyone?
