This troper is part of an on-campus Christian community, and the rest of the guys and I are very tight. But there is one guy who is normally TheStoic of the group, but has said multiple times that he considers us more like family than his actual family. Coming from this guy, that sentence is a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming. He has also said that if anyone hurts us, he will end them. Considering that he's not exactly the most stable person around, I believe him.

At the time of writing, this troper is apparently heading towards a sever beating by the somewhat overprotective brother of the girl he is in love with. TruthInTelevision taken to a personal extreme.

This troper's "little sister" seems to gather these kind of people around her. the things she's had to go through and still does more than justify it for us, though.

This troper qualifies for his step-sister, despite her living on the other side of the country and not having seen her in a significant amount of time. There are currently four people on my list of people who need to die for hurting her, and at the very top is my own father. I have absolutely no qualms about this.

This Troper's brother has banned him from behaving like this.

Is it possible for there to be a hybrid of this and SpartanSibling? Because this troper's older brother was a complete and total {{Jerkass}}- he would bully her, insult her, once locked her in a random room for an entire day because she accidentally messed something up in his video game, would sabotage her projects for kicks, destroy or deface many of her things, and flirt with all her friends. '''But''', for some reason beyond this troper's comprehension, he also insanely protective. He would violently chase off any male that got within a two yard radius (I'm not kidding, that distance was enforced, and he did possess a pocket measuring tape from shop class), had no problem beating the face in of anyone ''else'' who bullied her, and once stood up in the middle of an assembly to tell off a teacher that had been unfair to her. This supposedly had something to do with how meek and submissive I used to be, although I'd argue that was partially his fault. Once I got a backbone, however, it was the Spartan side that toned down, and the KnightTemplar side that went up. This time, the excuse was "you may be worthless, but anyone with my genetics is too good for normal people." You can see how people really fought to sit with me at lunch. Sorry, I just really needed to rant for a little while.
