This troper oftentimes has brilliant dreams, which are a pain to wake up from. That is why I plan on turning my dreams into books and TV scripts.
Some of the wackier plot aspects of my stories have come to me in dream form.
#72232
This troper wants to make her dreams into a video game, with the various {{Anthropomorphic Personification}}s of various parts of her psyche as characters. She fully intends to
hang lampshades on just how egotistical this makes her.
#72234
This troper has actually planned on making a manga that is based on her dreams, which are posted in
Mind Screw (it's the one that starts the examples with monsters and ends in heavy metal concerts, which are my favorite). I can usually remember my dreams, even ones I had when I was like 5. I'm in the process of going to college now so I can learn what I need to.

By proxy, all blogs and memoirs are more or less this trope
#72236
This Troper usually finds the ideas that make her think "
Should Write a Book About This}} I should write a fanfic about this" in every day life, such as reading books, watching movies, playing video games, and her dreams. Heck, one of her most notorious fanfics, {{Geishas of Winter}}, was inspired by a dream she had and romance novels set in Asia (mainly China) or in Asian-American areas of the U.S.

This troper had thought about writing stories about his two trips to Europe and posting them on Fiction Press, though he's forgotten how most of them went and doesn't think people would want to read about every conversation he'd had with the friends he'd made, along with ramblings about wandering, lost, around Rome or Dublin.
#72238
This troper always thought there should be a TV Tropes Dictionary. Or I guess encyclopedia. Whichever.
#72239
This usually happens to This troper after a session of role-playing games. And actually, some stories can be found on his blog.
#72240
This troper found himself thinking "Holy shit, they have PERSONALITIES" while playing with some custom characters on Soul Calibur 4, that he had somehow subconsciously gave them. The logical "I NEED TO WRITE ABOUT THEM" came soon after.
#72242
Many, many times I have 'epic' dreams that I think would be perfect in book form, but as I review them in my head while doing other things, I realize that many important 'plot points' make ''no sense'' in the real world.
#72243
This troper has talked about this with his friends that also ride the bus... there have been many interesting incidents to say the least.
#72244
This troper has been told many times she should write an autobiography someday, specifically recounting the odd things that have happened to her in her life.
#72245
My imagination is wonderful, and can pull an amazingly detailed backstory out of a single image. So I get this every five seconds.
#72247
Aethelflaeda, is that you?
#72248
While playing Final Fantasy Tactics, this troper wondered one day what it would be like if Ramza's sister was the one who was captured and killed. This set off a huge train of thought which lead to me writing a book about a character like Ramza who goes through this. Granted, there are many diffirences, but the main idea is still there.

I should write a book about my life, because so much crazy crap happens. Sometime last month, my friend was over at my house and we were playing on The Sims 2, when the computer just switched off. We were confused, and then we saw smoke coming from the computer. I ran into the lounge, shouting "DAD! THE COMPUTER'S ON FIRE!" Dad went to sort it out, and whilst he was doing that, my black lab puppy ate my dad's dinner. My friend just looked confused, and I just said "Just an average day in our household." Next day, I told everyone at school. Someone said (whilst in hysterical laughter) "That is something that only happens in films!" Yeah...

Romeo. And. Juliet. Romeo. DOESN'T. die. Nuff. Said.
#72251
Upon learning this troper is still a virgin at 23, her boyfriend asked her if she was gonna write a book about it. Her response was, "
Why?"
#72252
One of this troper's works in progress has quite a few {{Genre Savvy}} characters comment they they should write books about their adventures, assuming they survive them.
Can Die}} Not a lot of them do.
#72253
This Troper will probably some day write a book based off of the events of a LongRunner (3 years) HumongousMecha role play,
GundamSEEDTheLongWar he used to be involved in, which was based on the events of GundamSEED set TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture that featured predominantly on PrivateMilitaryContractors taking up battles in the name of countries for PlausibleDeniability due to the
Treaty of Orb which has forced the Earth sphere into an EnforcedColdWar. The conflict is driven by the BalanceOfPower shifting, which is ignited by a technology leap caused by the discovery of
MinovskyParticle. Eventually, the de facto Cold War turns
hot.

This troper once had a dream where Miyuki Takara from LuckyStar was in a cryogenic tube. I then thought (yes, I think in my dreams) "what if the LuckyStar girls were in a sci-fi series?", and I began thinking of sci-fi shows that I watched that would fit the high-strung, funny and hyperactive cast of LuckyStar. SuzumiyaHaruhi was too obvious, and MobileSuitGundam00 was just a terrible fit. Then I thought, "y'know, Konata is really wild and crazy... she kinda reminds me of
Kamina". Fast forward one year to today: I am now writing a fanfic called ''Gurren Star'', where the main four girls of LuckyStar fall into the universe of TengenToppaGurrenLagann... and funny shit happens. The first three chapters are complete, and I will begin uploading it to FanFiction.net once chapter 23 is complete.
#72255
I used to joke about writing a book that would be basically a fictionalized account of my four years in high school. Who knows, I may do it one day after all...
#72256
I just watched a tv show about a man who is in love with a life size doll of a woman. I remembered how I had a barbie doll as a kid that had no head. I decided to combine these ideas together to create a story about a relationship between a man and his headless sex doll.
#72257
My friends and I host an annual fancy dress dinner and dance party. A few years back, the latter half of it got so
crazy, I just had to write about it. I've been perfecting a FourRooms-style script ever since (interlocking stories, ensemble cast, etc).
#72258
This troper's friends are encouraging her to write a book about the five years she spent working in a church. The problem is that she's not sure anyone would believe it.
#72259
This Troper once told his mother that his life should be a book or television series. As I put it: "Just imagine it! The shipping wars alone would be EPIC!"
#72260
MayorofNorthfield}} This troper has a tendency to spiral into
Seinfeldian Conversations with one of his friends. Some of these conversations are hilarious. Oh, did I mention that I'm writing a sitcom? You can probably see where this is going...
#72261
This troper and her best friend have both told each other their dreams, at which point the other usually says she should write it as a book. Interestingly, they are both actually doing this - one a fantasy, the other a spy story.

I'm determined to write a film based on one of my weirdest dreams. About a guy who seemily wakes up as a 29 year old after being 14. He's married one of his school friends and has a 10 year old son who hates him, but he remembers nothing of the past 15 years. He then goes to a doctor and finds out he has a severe case of amnesia all of a sudden. He then tries to recollect all his memories and get his son to love him. Watch out for Damnesia in the near future! (it's going to be a comedy...somehow)
