This troper has gone through many, many online handles over the course of his time on the internet, most of which end up being throwaway nicks that he discards after about a month. Many of these nicks are attempts to get rid of an embarassing nickname that has persisted with him, but most of these attempts fail, either because they sound cheesy and/or because he's afraid that his friends will not recognize his new nickname; it's hard to let go of a nick you've had for eight years.

Thanks to the internet I am many people- Invertin, Gravitee, 3 Solid, White, Blazion, Xarez, Zarex, Adventurewrm, Beatalot, Blaster and more that I can't remember right now.

2}} This troper has had the following nicknames/been referred to by the following: Bear, Ape, Yeti, Chabal, Cave Bear, Caveman (noticing a pattern here?), DK, RobinsonCrusoe(?), Barbarian, Gorilla, Chewie/Chewbacca, Neanderthal, the Hammer, the Breaker of Blades, and Pilgrim of St James(?).

This troper had friend who is the son of a diplomat and adopts a "local" name in every country he visits, they include names in Hebrew English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Arabic...

This troper has a friend with about a dozen different names and nicknames and middle names and inside joke names he will respond to. Sometimes people will just say "the one with all the names" because you can't guarantee everyone will know you meant D when you said A or S or X but everyone knows he has more than one name.

Completely averted by this troper. Despite her two names and two surnames, she doesn't have a nickname. And she always uses the same online handle.

A freshman of this troper has many nicknames - versions of his name (including one that parodies a "racial cheat" on the college ingression test)... and an unexplainable feminine name. The troper himself could count, as he has at least three - his name (which combined with his surname ''and'' the article preceding it, is his common online handle), a version of his name, and his name in a social network (the name of a Green Day song).

This troper used to have so many identities with so many personal data to look belivable that I started to forgot it. Also, this troper used to say she was an 80 years old lady loking for the love of her life...that ended when I put that on a date site. OMG. One of the bachelors was bald and pictured with his granddaugther, who was actually older than me.

This troper has many, many nicknames. I think there's Moonwalker, Moony, Jacky, InspectorGadget, Darth Vader, and many others which are not pop culture references and thus not quite applicable. Oh, and The Spanish one (despite not being Spanish).

This tropette's cat as well! Her normal name is Fluffy, and she's been given nicknames like fluff and stuff, floofy (a bad German pronunciation), floofen (again bad german), fluff puff, fatty, cat, dumb dumb, hey you etc...

This troper has been known online as Nova, Novus, Batking, Matrix, and Malleus. In real life he has been called by the traditional diminutive of his given name, Donkey Kong, Thumper, Tab, several variants of Bear, and a few others.

This Troper has multiple user accounts and multiple nicknames in real life, but because of the rule of anonymity, I won't tell you what my names are. Also, these user accounts are deleted and replaced often, usually every single year.

This Troper has gone by, in addition to her actual name, Nuffie, Meleby, Hat Girl, Top Hat Girl, and Skittles in real life, and Grimalkin, Mondegreen, IdesOfAugust, Haberdasher, Nuffers, and No User Found online, among other names I've probably forgotten. Strangely, she seems to have avoided the common nicknames for her name.

This Troper has been known as Rock 'n' Roll, Melvino (his stage name), Malvado ("evil" in Spanish), Pinky, and Caspar, among others that were less memorable.

This Troper has not gone by her legal name since she was three, but still uses it in situations where going by another name isn't worth the trouble. She went by one name from the ages of 3-13 and switched to a new one at 14. That makes three names she'll answer to... As well as the usual variety of screennames.

To get an under-the-table job, this troper pretended to be an illegal Mexican named Julio.

This troper has many nicknames derived from his last name, so much so that most of his friends call him by one (or more) of the nicknames rather than his first or last name. I'm not particuarly fond of my name and prefer using nicknames and various identities online. In real life, I just avoid introducing myself by name and saying my name unless asked. People have gone weeks without knowing my name in real life despite talking to me everyday.

This Troper has got herself several internet nicknames over the years: (from first to last) Nyuura(Sneasel's Japanese name), Chibs, Kawaiitachi, Kuzie, Ichigo Worst Username Ever/WUE, Killer Hoppip/Hoppip, Chaletica and recently, Zanreo. Only the last 4 ones are currently used, and I'm not using Chaletica anymore in new places because it happens to also be the name of one of my OCs that actually isn't my persona. For nicknames by other people, I was known as "the Leekspin girl"(no, not that one) for a while due to that Leekspin thing.

You can tell when I joined a site by whether I'm Katie, Katana, a hedgehog known as Katana, a cat/Kemonomimi known as Katana, or a cat/Kemonomimi known as Nova (my awesome middle name). DasDuken have had many nicknames and variations of nicknames. I was friends with 3 siblings, two of whom referred to me by one of my nicknames, the other who used my real name. Their parents thought I was two different people for a little while.
