An amazing dinner cooked by Whitney:



This year I'm mostly thankful that I'm reaching the end of the job transfer paperwork, and have finally got to a point where I can spend a few weeks away from it. Our first paycheques with the new company were recently distributed, including the stock payout from the end of the old company and pay at our normal rate for the holidays that we hadn't used. I had used only two days this year and consequently we are absolutely minted for the time being, but I'll soon be using some of that money to buy back holidays with the new company for the journey to Scotland starting next week.

So we have three days to get through the remaining three quarters of the pancetta-wrapped turkey pictured above, along with an entire apple pie.
