ThoseTwoGuys
#129277
This Troper and his best friend were this in his French class out of necessity (the rest of the class were girls.) One of our teachers even addressed us as "the guys" Of course, my friend dropped the class, leaving me to be just the one guy.

In my group, we have two girls that are exactly this, and they just hang around and only comment once or twice. They're pretty much always together. It just so happens that they're believed to be a couple.
#129279
ThisTroper found out that a classmate's birthday was the day after his own. The two of them played ThoseTwoGuys for the rest of the year.

When I'm not Team Moming, I'm always one half of ThoseTwoGuys. In my book club, it's me and the other girl who shares my name, in school it's me and a mildly psychotic friend of mine, and in stage crew, it's me and the stage manager.
#129281
Now that I think about it, I was one of ThoseTwoGuys with a guy I knew. It probably looked pretty funny (Tall guy/short guy; into video games/into music).
#129282
ThisTroper is this with her best friend. So much that when one of us is missing, other people ask where the other half of our soul is.
#129283
I found out today that I'm one of ThoseTwoGuys with my best friend at college. The question is, who are we playing this part for?
#129284
This Troper was ThoseTwoGuys in grade school and jr. high with a male friend with virtually the exact same intrests as him. Now that we're in different high schools, I'm ThoseTwoGuys with a female friend a grade below me, who also shares several intrests with me.
#129285
Nowadays I have Those Two Girls to my "main character". They talk and bicker nonstop, and the latter is always hilarious.
#129286
This troper's best friend on campus. When together, people are known to call us Biggs and Wedge.
#129287
Two guys in the choirs at my high school. Each one (like me) is in every choir in the school except Women's Choir, and they sit next to each other in each choir and at lunch. In our school's production of GuysAndDolls, they played Nicely-Nicely Johnson and Benny Southstreet.
#129288
This troper and his younger brother fit this trope nicely. I am the nerdy, smart, quiet one, while he is the cool, outgoing, goofy one. He's still really smart, I'm just the one who flaunts it more. And up until he got his driver's license (and even after that) we did almost everything together.
#129289
I tend to buddy up with with guys who have a boyish, more approachable charm, which offsets my stern-faced stoicism which some find intimidating. It can also rub off on me, but not to the point where the contrast between us isn't noticeable. Though I appear to be the serious one, I'm usually the one to come up with the crazy stunts.
#129290
This troper had ThoseTwoGuys in her Software Engineering project. If they decided to attend the project meetings, they were most likely standing behind someone who was actually working and maybe, just maybe, they would also say something.
#129291
This troper was one of those two guys in college. It got to the point where professors wouldn't even bother looking for which one of us wanted to answer a question or make a comment, they'd just refer to us as "You guys in the back".
#129292
This troper and a guy he works with, as we are basically the only ones who do our job at our workplace. Plus we have the same first name, so sometimes we'll be on a conference call and someone will say, "Are the Bobs on?"
#129293
This Troper is one of ThoseTwoGirls. My other half is quick to deny any rumors, but I play it up much to her annoyance.
#129294
This troper knows a certain duo of helpers at school who've been there since I was 7 or 8, and I'm now 16. They are often referred to as the big brothers of the school. While not always together per se (authorities want at least one to be available at all times) the two are usually referred to as a set; and they don't particularly mind.
#129295
On forums the same troper is also this with a friend in PinkBoyBlueGirl fashion, NiceGuy with a DeadpanSnarker and the AnnoyingYoungerSibling to an AloofBigBrother in roleplay.
#129296
This troper's been one of the Two Guys. We were the only single men in our circle of friends, which basicly lead to us spending more time together, as the couples would unsurprisingly want to spend most of their weekends alone. It went to the point where I'd see a familiar face on the street, and the first question would always be "Where's Bob?".
#129297
This troper and her best friend, who are both homosexual women, are often referred to (affectionately) as "Those Two Dykes," after one of our friends read this page.
#129298
There are two guys this troper knows who fit this trope perfectly. They are in all of this tropers Tuesday classes, ones fat and the other is skinny, they are always together, and they are useally in the background but will make snarky comments sometimes.
#129299
I don't suppose you go to the high school in Alnwick and posted this in between September 2009-April 2010?
#129300
This Troper became this with a sophomore her senior year of high school. We had no classes together but were always seen together outside of class, had opposite appearances, and decided we were "soul sisters." When seen alone, people would just automatically direct us to where the other was. We eventually ended up calling ourselves "Those Two Guys of the Geek Squad."
#129301
Conversation between me and my sister when I'm describing the latest episode of Glee, "Never been Kissed." #QUOTE# Me: So, I think I've found Kurt's boyfriend.\\ Sister: Who?\\ Me: You know Karofsky?\\ Sister: ... No...?\\ Me: Hockey player? Bullies Kurt?\\ Sister: (Pause, shakes head.)\\ (Long pause)\\ Me: Hangs out with a black guy?\\ Sister: ''Oh!'' Yeah, him. What about?
#129302
This troper does this with half of her friends. Two especially.
#129303
Friend A and I are in the same class at school and we always sit together and spend most of class either talking about yaoi or yuri or drawing and messing around. She is an artist and I am extremely creative so this led to us making a webcomic together. Also one time while I was showing our other friend who sits with us her Deviant Art account There was lots of fighting over the computer and eventually our hands ended up in a awkward position that stayed that way for like 5 minutes before anyone said anything.
#129304
Friend B has been my best friend since we were 6 and throughout primary school we were put in the same class every year because the teachers saw how close we were. I only really hang around with our other friends at lunch time (a different group to who I sit with in class) because they are friends with her and sometimes our relationship borders on RomanticTwoGirlFriendship.
#129305
Apparently true when I was in high school, with my best friend. We still pretty much inevitably visit our old high school together, except when he's helping with the volleyball team. #QUOTE#'''Every Teacher I Have Ever Gone Back To Visit, Ever:''' Hey, L! Good to see you! Where's N? #QUOTE#'''Me, Inevitably:''' Right behind me.
#129306
This troper has two friends who are almost invariably seen together, talking about the latest video games. One is a DeadpanSnarker and the other one is TheQuietOne and a Cloudcuckoolander.
#129307
This troper is most certainly one of Those Two Girls, down to being a minor background character. She and her other friend are always together, share the same geeky interests that are foreign to most of the rest of the class, get confused with one another as the two short, short-haired girls, and occasionally drop in on the conversations of more extroverted members of the class, but never without our own weird banter. Not to mention, the fact that neither of us has much of a social life makes our significance rather suspect.
#129308
There are two guys in my class like this. One is short, hyperactive and snarky, the other one is tall and calm. Our teacher forgot their names and I said "Just call them ThoseTwoGuys. We know who you mean."
#129309
One of my best friends and I are both in band, functioning as ThoseTwoGuys for pretty much all of the low brass section.
#129310
This troper and her best friend met on the first day of uni and immediately became ThoseTwoGirls. Same course, rooms within metres of each other, consecutive birthdays... With the addition of another friend, we are now "those three girls".
#129311
Whenever any two members of this troper's Nakama are together, we are this, no exception. When there are more, we are the Quirky Miniboss Squad of our school in full force.
#129312
This "main character" has two friends who are definitely ThoseTwoGuys. I literally call them Spock and McCoy because their personalities and relationships is like this.
#129313
Seems to be mandatory in every school and class I´ve ever been. I probably was part of one of those, too but already a little while ago. I also was during a class trip in a room with two guys who behaved like this and adressed them always in plural (unconciously of course). When they realised this I explained this trope to them and they laughed probably because they realized it just now.
