Tropers/{{JET73L}} has had this happen more than once with thunderstorm and tornado warnings, as well as emergency broadcast system tests. It was somewhat humorous (but frustrating) tuning in to the second half of a new episode of ''{{Community}}'' to find out only that Britta had apparently won some sort of "Tranny Pageant" and that Troy had about a quarter of a giant cookie before half of Jeff's speech got *beep- beep- beeeeeeeeep* ed. However, it was ''mindbendingly'' hilarious to watch an old episode of {{Friends}}, and have Ross's extremely G-rated tirade completely bleeped out by a weather alert test.

This troper remembers following the works of a [=YouTube=] user who specialized in taking clips from children's shows and censoring certain words to make it sound dirty; his best work was when he did the BarneyAndFriends song, "I'm a Happy Helper".

Was this the same guy ranted against Viacom who deleted his videos and conspired with Youtube to take his account down? As it turns out, the rants averted this trope.

I used to joke about this with dad--several of his old videotapes ended with a tone that sounded exactly like the traditional expletive bleep, a fact I would milk for all it was worth (but then again, I ''was'' in middle school at the time.)
