@/DesertDragon: I grew out of my twink phase rather quickly as I became increasingly disillusioned with the gay community. You're only as hot as the next piece of ass to come out of high school, boys. I like to think I still have good looks at the ripe old age of twenty-five, but nowadays I'd rather attract a man through common interests and this weird thing called a personality than my body.

This troper goes to a music conservatory. Every year, at least one freshman guy (usually a voice major) comes out of the closet and goes full-on Twink. For some reason, the girls who come out are a bit more subtle.

This troper's brother just got out of high school and, now that his classmates aren't tormenting him for being gay, is LOVING life. Living in the Village helps.

One of this troper's best friends, whom I've known since high school, and who was my first kiss (long story there) fits this trope to a T. Me and the rest of our friends are hoping he'll grow out of it before he either gets an STD, tangles with the wrong guy, or both.
