TheLoad

Back in this troper's highschool days, he would frequently visit other schools with his sports team. We would usually try to pick up girls at any new school we visited -- but our efforts were thwarted by a fellow teammate whose creepy and immature attitude repelled members of the opposite sex like some sort of black magic. He, of course, eventually earned the nickname "Dead Weight." ... Not that we would have been very successful without him anyway haha.

Ohhhhh the stories I could tell about TheLoad member of my school clique. Certain people are hilarious to have around most of the time, but their tendency to burst out ludicrously inappropriate remarks at the worst times could prove fatal to what little chance you (think you) have...

The guys I game with tend to have a fairly consistent reply to the question "can I remake Chad Hanniff for this campaign?" The answer, with only one exception so far, has been "no." Chad Hanniff was an old WorldOfDarkness character I made at school one fateful day. He was a wannabe secret agent who only ever managed to exacerbate things for the already overworked real hero of the story.

This troper's group of friends has someone like this. She tagged along whether we liked it or not and often killed any fun we were having with some stupid or weird comment. And her laugh, oh god her laugh....

This troper sometimes gets the feeling that she is this. Whenever this feeling sets in, I shut up and go somewhere else for a while so as to stop interfering with other peoples' plans.

This troper's group has ''three'' loads that follow them around. And they won't go away. No matter how hard we try. Now that I think about it, that's probably why none of us currently has a girlfriend.

This troper considers himself to be TheLoad. Nobody seems to agree with him.

This troper is pretty sure he is this for every occasion. Besides his Heterosexual Life Partner, the people hes hang around tend to ignore whatever he says. Happens especially during school group projects, where his group members usually take the entire project without asking what he want to do. If he wants to do something, he's usually to scared to ask. If he does have any input, again, it is immediately shot down. He is a shy, quiet loner, so being TheLoad is either because of his demeaner, or the cause of it.

Im beginning to think I am one to most of my friends sometimes, maybe thats just cause Im always worrying about things like this, but I had one of my own in High School. She was 2 years younger than me, and talked way too much about random things, and just would not leave me and my friends alone, following us everywhere.

I was this for a while when I was nine or ten. Long story short, I was in a bit of a gang (not like the criminal ones you read about) that constantly fought another gang. I deliberately did not fight and always ran when a fight started. Now, some seven years later (having left the gang in the same year), I'm respected and rarely use violence for any reason. I also happen to be the only guy of that gang who is still in school at the moment. I suspect a Who's Laughing Now will occur when the first school reunion happens...

This troper is this exactly, she gets in everyone's way and always seems to constantly be there when she's not needed. She's so, so sorry...

There's this guy in my Physics and computer science class who nobody ever seems to want as their partner because he doesn't do ''anything.'' I once had the misfortune of getting him as my partner for a programming assignment, and he didn't know the first thing about coding. I was left to do the entire thing myself, including coming to school at six in the morning for a full week to get it finished and save my grade while he perused his way around the ESPN website on his laptop. He doesn't deserve to be taking such advanced courses, he should go bother the Earth Science people...
