As a person who is both straight-edge and a major virgin, this troper needs to use this excuse whenever he talks about drugs and sex, for he has far more knowledge about both than he should. For example, he was once talking with a friend about anal sex and said, "Well, as you may expect, it's only enjoyable if you really love the person you are with and if you use lube liberally... or so I have heard."

Are you my OppositeSexClone? I know way too much about drugs, despite being edge, and quite a bit about sex. It's mostly from reading autobiographies of past-addicts, I swear!

I once went to a stage-show for children. I fangirled and gasped the name of the villain when they played my favorite theme tune, and got a few odd gazes -- I said that my cousin, Agnes, had sung it all the time at home and she wasn't here because she was sick but she really wanted me to come and get autographs and...uhm...I'm too old for this, aren't I?

In something of an aversion, This troper frequently adds "I should ''not'' know that," when answering questions about a series or a fim that I either haven't watched or really shouldn't have. The first time I can remember doing so is when a friend was trying to remember the author of ''ThePrincessDiaries'' series. I answered "Meg Cabot," in spite of never having read the books and only watching the first movie because there was nothing else on.

I sometimes use this when talking about video games I have played at work (I'm a game tester), because I can't tell people what games I test.
