This troper himself has had school fights that involved my backpack, pens, pencils, notebook, school chair and even my own jacket as a whip or rope of sorts. I've recently threatened to use my metal-tipped umbrella as a spear and even fancied the idea of using my belt as a metal whip. Am I overplanning too much?
#69678
THIS trope stabbed someone in the thigh with a compass. Not very deep, fortunately
#69679
This Troper is an extreme bookworm (books are seriously her equivalent of coffee). Accordingly, her weapon of choice is a weighty, hardback tome; she's used it frequently, to great effect.
#69680
I have seen staple guns, a copy of Shounen Jump, and a Bible used as weapons. Oh, and a door, but that was an accident.
#69681
So, they threw the book at them?
#69682
A headline in This Troper's local newspaper: "Woman Fends Off Bear Attack With Zucchini".
#69683
More details. PLEASE.
#69684
Found the info (yippee for Google). Apparently, a black bear attacked the woman's dogs, and when she tried to scare it off, it charged at her. It scratches her, and what does she hit it with? A zucchini. The bear ran away.

This Troper has allergy problems, and carries several pocket packs of Kroger tissues at all times. They actually make great throwing weapons. Me and my friends occasionally use them in "tissue wars."
#69686
This troper stabbed her brother with a calligraphy pen once. In my defense, he did ask me to.
#69687
This Troper's weapon of choice is a Pentel RSVP pen. Once, he stabbed a classmate so hard it punctured her skin.
#69688
According to family legend, one of my ancestors was beheaded with a hoe. Telling the story out loud is quite fun, as the word 'hoe' is quite easily misheard.
#69689
This troper made a roleplay character who almost always uses whatever random objects he sees as weapons, despite the fact that he has perfectly good weapons of his own.
#69690
This troper's "almost son" used a chair. This troper has been known for using frying pans, computer parts and a whole tuna.
#69691
{{Anne Beeche}}: This troper enjoys using books (big doorstoppers such as the Complete Works of William Shakespeare) and architectural rulers as Improbable Weapons. In her works of fiction, her character's weapons tend to be musical instruments (both for casting magic and a regular old walloping), and there's even a lead pipe.
#69692
There's a trope for that.
#69693
This tropette once had an in depth conversation with a friend about whether or not any object could be used as a weapon. This led to us gathering all of the less obvious objects and experimenting on how much effort it took to either cause harm with it, or modify it so it could cause legitimate harm. By the way - never underestimate the hidden badassery of a feather.
#69694
While doing squats with a punching bag on his shoulders, this troper experimented with using it as a weapon. If you can wield it around correctly, it is a very effective bludgeon, considering the sheer weight of the bludgeon, as well as the strength necessary to wield it correctly.
#69695
I planned on using a ''mother'' '''fucking''' '''''LAPTOP''''' as a weapon.
#69696
I am very, very much this. From the easy walking stick as a quarterstaff, to Awesome}} more insane things like a key attached to a lanyard in the absence of a ball and chain.
#69697
This troper lives by a single rule of thumb when it comes to self defense: If you can swing it, cut with it, stab with it, or crush with it, it's a weapon, The only think I've ever found that doesn't fit this description was his wallet, but even that could be distracting in a way.
#69698
Since ''GammaWorld'' is set in a ScavengerWorld, mine and my friends' characters tend to have bizzarely improbable weapons. I wield a hospital gurney. My friend weilds a ''vending machine''.
#69699
Note to self: Under no circumstances should I ''ever'' tick off one of you people if you have a pen/pencil in your hand.
#69700
I think it's safe to say that really ''anything'' can be made into a weapon. I like to remind people of this whenever I write my stories, in which at least one character uses a weaponized form of a relatively mundane item:
#69701
One character in a ''FullmetalAlchemist'' fanfic uses paper to make an arsenal of long-range weapons.
#69702
A small child in a certain crossover uses ''utensils'' as weapons, once impaling a man's knee with a fork. (Gives a whole new meaning to WeaponsKitchenSink!)
#69703
One girl ''is'' a weapon - specifically, a Swiss army knife [[CrazyAwesome with a built-in lighter/flamethrower]]. I think she'd be more ImpossiblyCoolWeapon come to think of it.
#69704
One girl in an original work called ''The Stoogebies'' lampshades the fact that really ''anything'' could count as a weapon, given the right intent by the user.
#69705
RealLife example: I've used everything from a jumprope to a bottle of water (it was more like a metal thermos, to be fair) to a slipper as weapons. I just have fun with it, you know?
#69706
I've actually been tempted to use my CELL PHONE as a weapon in the event of needing defense. Otherwise, my backpack or my key would be used.
#69707
This troper's classroom:
#69708
Troper got in a fight with some kid wielding a chair, and used a weighted shoulder bag as a flail. To this day, troper wears a bag like a knight wears a sword-- you feel naked without it.
#69709
Troper's best friend carries around a handkerchief full of needles. No one really wants to know why.
#69710
ClassClown uses rulers and triangles; thankfully, the cuts are small, but they are still very good for incapacitating the hands.
#69711
Troper's science teacher: Could snipe you from across the room with erasers and bits of chalk.
#69712
This troper's music teacher: Took up archery class-- demonstrated by throwing a violin bow across the room and terrifying everyone in the class. Is equally effective at playing darts with pencils. The whole school recognizes his BadassBadassery.
#69713
There seems to be a trend for this school hiring not-so-cold snipers as teachers.
#69714
I planned on using my backpack filled with numerous books as a weapon if anything were to happen. However, it seemed that no one would be able to pick it up but me and I was always questioned on what was in my backpack.
#69715
Thanks to my ability to accurately find the weight distribution of any object by just picking it up, I've found many common items that would make pretty good weapons. The best so far is the lever from a car jack.
