I once read a similar fan-fic comic with Brawl Characters, if I remember correctly it had Link Skywalker, Fox Solo and his trusty sidekick Donkey, try to recover two mechanics Mario-D2 and Luigi-0. Oh and it had a small cameo of Max Rebotnik.

He went on to write a follow-up: a fusion between Pokemon and ''{{Doom}}'' (where the creatures from {{Hell}} are actually Pokemon that can be caught), with elements taken from ''Frontier: {{Elite}} 2'' (for the nomenclature of extraterrestrial locations) and ''TassTimesInTonetown'' (for the popular culture present in that universe).

Similarly, there has been at least one effort based on the assumption that Kasumi from ''Ranma 1/2'' and Kasumi from ''{{Pokemon}}'' were the same person.

This Troper once made a fusion by taking an early script of ''StarWars'', substituting names as desired (he had Ash in Han's role, mainly because he couldn't get the word "Chupika" out of his head), then built it from there, such as making Droids into Pokemon, and as such having certain Pokemon as your Astromech Droid actually conferred some special attacks to your fighter, like [[strike:Wedge]] Sabrina Antilles surviving so long because her Abra could teleport her fighter out of danger (and into prime shooting positions).

That actually sounds kind of cool.

This troper is currently working on a GhostInTheShellStandAloneComplex fusion with Ben10UltimateAlien where Gwen's family died in a plane crash and she was put into a cyborg body and became Major Kusanagi with no memory of her old life. Ben lives in Japan now and is a public hero, Kevin is caught by Section 9 and brought into the group for his expertise. I'm still trying to keep to the spirit of both shows and borrowing a lot of elements of both series. Has even bothered to make characters use profanity 'cause they do in GhostInTheShellStandAloneComplex.

I guess this is a good place for this troper to pimp his fanfic, which replaces the characters of the Subspace Emissary with various anime characters.

I felt the need to deliver a critique- basically, it's a good idea, but some more characterization and fleshing-out of scenes would definitely have been welcome. Also, some of the casting choices were... rather meh, to say the least. For example, when I saw the description of Ryo-Ohki for Game & Watch I initially thought of "Hello Kitty" which would have been hilarious. Instead of Speed Racer for Falcon you really should have gone with Kamina, who would have fit the character perfectly. Not to mention that Lelouch would have fit rather well as because, well, [[spoiler:Huey Freeman?? Really? NoJustNo. I understand your idea, but that one was just out of left field and pretty much threw the rest of the story out of whack. Also, I would've gone with Kuriboh instead of Dark Magician for Pikachu, and I'm a little thrown by how most of the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters are more like their abridged counterparts. One final bit of casting advice- Lagann's Anti-Spiral for Tabuu, mostly because he looks and fits the part far more (and because I have no idea who the hell the guy you chose is). That said, your casting of Sailor Moon, Kenshin, Luffy, Inuyasha, Yusuke, Spike, Shinji, and Goku all fit remarkably well into the pre-existing plot, although I feel kid Goku would have been better than his adult counterpart because the power discrepancies are a bit unbelievable. Also, I have to give you an A+ for as Master Hand, which is a brilliant and hilarious idea. Basically, I feel that you have an OK start, but I would suggest rewriting it later on, in order to expand the plot and characterization more, and perhaps to look into more anime to find more fitting cast counterparts.

If anyone can possibly explain what led this Troper and several others to fuse ''{{Watchmen}}'' and ''AzumangaDaioh'', please let me know. Well, besides the obvious awesome of Rorsaka.

Take GundamWing. Rip out every character you know, and even the ones you don't. Replace the five main pilots (and Zechs) with the five main girls of LoveHina (and Keitaro). Sprinkle in other important characters from Love Hina, some from MahouSenseiNegima, and even throw in some FullMetalPanic for shits and giggles. Add about three OCs just to put some sprinkles on top. Enjoy a cake made of carnage and hilarity. It actually tastes better than you'd think, at least according to some.

This Tropette is currently in the process of writing the first draft of one that is a crossover of the MystSeries and {{Batman}}. The only character replaced, however, is the {{AFGNCAAP}} player character, otherwise known as the Stranger to Myst fans. Who is being replaced with TheJoker.

Take the Evangelion setting. Switch out Shinji and Kaworu. Give Kaworu a Kamina-esque personality and {{Prototype}}-esque morphing powers. Make Rei into a gun-toting trenchcoated badass. Have Yui and Gendo divorce and him taking Shinji with him while she adopts Rei. Make the Evas self-aware and sentient, ''NobodyDies''-style. Now take the entire thing and replant it into the Half-Life setting, post-Episode Three. Have humanity being led by a communist government with Keel as president. Upgrade the setting into hard sci-fi space opera with {{Real Robot}}s instead of tanks. Here you go.

This troper likes doing crossovers with ''FullmetalAlchemist'' and pretty much anything; the concept of a character coming from their own verse into FMA's makes for a fairly easy plot device. So far, I have one with ''{{Ed Edd and Eddy}}'' and just published another with ''SoulEater''. The second one has Asura rip open the fabric of space, so now Edward with Winry, Envy, Greed and May Chang are in Death City, while Free, Eruka and the Mizunes now are in Amestris. I'm having lots of fun with all the shipping opportunities! Not to mention the part about Lord Death being friends with Truth-kun.

This troper is in the process of creating something he just calls "Metal Gear Sonic". It's set entirely in the Sonic universe, but focuses on a story that is essentially Metal Gear Solid 1, but with sonic characters as equivilants and certain differences in order to throw people off. It takes place a few years after the main sonic series in order to allow characters to fit into their new roles and brings back almost every Sonic character (mainly because Metal Gear Solid has a lot of roles to fill).

This Troper has started the planning progress of a fanfic inspired by the Marvel/DC Crossover from the 90s where characters from both universes fused together, but this time with more than two universes. The Main characters are Harry Skywalker, Zelda Gainsborough, Lui Kang The Avatar, Buffy Summers AKA Sailor Moon, and Peter Parker AKA Freakaspider, as they find a way to get their universes back to normal.
