BullyingADragon

This troper is a Tsundere Action Girl who is probably smarter than L even though she's 13, and people think it's a good idea to push her down, trip her, call her names, shout about her Cloudcuckoolander-ness, stalk her, and repeatedly ask her out after she's said NO. (I'm quite pretty. I'm not self-centered, I just take after my grandmother. Who looks 30 years younger than she IS.)
#17634
Said troper is nearly an orange belt in karate, and while she's rather bad at it, as with all sports, she can kick HARD. And drop binders on their heads. And almost got one kid EXPELLED. Without getting in trouble at all.
#17635
The only problem is, I don't like making people sad. So I usually refrain from doing these things, unless I've been Glomped or they've insulted my family.
#17636
This trooper while a freshmen who took martial arts once side kicked a bullying upper classmen in the chest sending him falling back through the glass of a nearby trophy case. Other kid's response was to increase taunting and ridicule for 'going nuts'. Yeah mock the kid who OHKO an effective grown adult...though makes more sense as the school was very clear on their 'don't do that again' policy.

Similar story for This troper. Bullied constantly
Lots of reasons. [[AmbiguouslyGay The purple backpack for starters.]], until he finally decided to punch one antagonist out, and then kick his face while he was on the ground. Bullying immediately resumed upon being released from detention. Several months later, had enough, kneed antagonizer in the gut, and then slammed his head into the wall. Bullying immediately resumed upon being released from detention...

This troper is known for being nigh invincible, incredibly strong, being into western and eastern martial arts, still having to put up with anger management, and an ex debt collector. guy at a party doesn't like his ex showing me some attention, as we head out to my car, he follows us out. He gets in some smack talk, throws a punch and then gets tossed into a streetlight. when I left, he was still unconscience.

Often times, many bullies find it more fun to pick on someone who is very violent in response. This is part of the reason my sister was bullied as badly as she was. She would fight, throw things, chase them, and wonder why they would come back for more knowing she isn't someone you would mess with.
#17640
This troper's assailants found her attempts to fight back hilarious. Granted, she wasn't much of a dragon at the time...more of a hatchling.
#17641
This troper is skinny to an extreme, so I was picked on constantly (well, that and being able to outsmart a teacher of a class three years above my level). One guy flung me into a post and snapped my ankle. I proceeded to hit him with my backpack (25-30 lbs of textbooks). I got two days of detention, on crutches, with my hands all torn up. #QUOTE# "You look awful." "You should see the other guy."
#17642
Did you have a history of beating people up like this? Otherwise it sounds like MuggingTheMonster.
#17643
Personally witnessed by this troper. One kid, who was being humiliated all his life from the same batch of bullies got hit with puberty early. He became a massive man who got into wrestling and studied boxing openly, even writing a report about it. Do these bullies back down? Of course not! Over the course of a week, one bully nearly got his neck broken in wrestling practice, and another bully actually got to
cry tears of blood as this kid started to rip his face open at the eyes and tried throwing the kid out of a three story building. Aesop: Sometimes the dragon bites back.
#17644
Dragon indeed, If he starts his own business called
Saeder Krupp then give him some space and definately DON'T WORK FOR HIM!
#17645
Is this guy's last name, by chance,
Clegane?
#17646
Early puberty was a similar saving grace for this troper. I particularly enjoyed hitting a bully in the face with a fastball after my arm strength developed. Even got to claim with plausible deniability that it wasn't intentional.
#17647
At this troper's school, there was this one kid that everyone picked on. One kid said he had a "hairy mangina". Cue fistfight. That he won.
#17648
Do you go to Mongomery Upper Middle School? Because that exact same thing happened here. This Troper just barely missed the fight, she was in the same Social Studies class as those two boys, and she only missed the fight because she left as soon as class was over. The bully had it coming to him, though.
#17649
Did they continue pestering him after this? Otherwise it sounds like MuggingTheMonster.
#17650
This troper once began wearing trench coats to school. It started a small trend, where other fellow nerds would wear their longest coats. Shortly after we started, a few idiots began pestering us to take off the coats, so we wouldn't kill the people who ere annoying us. . . No violence occurred, because we considered them too stupid to notice. Granted, I did actually stab someone with a pencil a few years before, but my anger issues were settled.
#17651
Invoked by more than one authority figure this troper knew with regards to him. I was bullied constantly as a kid and one teacher when I was younger told the class that picking on me wasn't a good idea because I was likely to snap and beat the crap out of most of them. He also hinted he wouldn't be stepping in if it happened. Another time a kid tried to start a fight with me and I promptly dodged it choked him and sat him on his but before walking way. My friend who was already 6 feet tall in eighth grade warned him he didn't want to do that and promptly took it to {{Memetic Badass}} levels afterwards.
#17652
In one roleplay this troper is in,
one character kidnapped one of her characters. He warned the kidnapper that he had a close friend who would make his life a living hell,
and told him that he could just let him go and they wouldn't get TheFederation to come and arrest him. Did he listen? Nope. Now
Runa and a whole friggin' army are attackin the planet.
#17653
Some years back, this troper was being bullied by seconds on his stupid school. One of the bullies thought it would be funny to kick his chair repeatedly while the teacher was writing on the board. Problem is, he caught this Troper in a REALLY bad humor. So this troper politely asked him to stop once. Then twice. At third kick, a massive notebook, made for 15 SUBJECTS, moved through air and hit the bully in the face. This troper received 2 days of suspension, laughing about it for these 2 days, while said bully was a bit stunned and never again kicked his chair. The other bullies remained, but GOD! It felt good!
#17654
This troper finds the persistence of the aforementioned bullies in all of this...are
some of them into masochism or are they
just plain dumb? Also, he is deriving vicarious wish-fulfillment from this - in his case he was a victim of Bullying A ''Pseudodragon'', which, BTW, is much less threatening (most attempts by him to fight bullies ended with him coming off second-best and in primary school ''
once resulted in him being KOed''...

This Troper has a black belt in karate and practices outside the school if she has extra time during lunch or free periods, so there's no question that people ''know'' she can fight if she has to. The thing is, since the style of karate I practice is Shudokan Karatedo, (
the "-do" means that this form of the martial art is more focused on the art part and is more of a philosophical, self-defense -if-necessary thing than an explicitly martial thing; if more emphasis was placed on the "martial" the suffix would be "jitsu," as in "Jujitsu," which is actually the same martial art as "Judo" but with a different intended purpose), it essentially makes me TheFettered as well (which, of course all martial artists ''should'' be regardless of the -do or -jitsu). I am also a nerd. People may not know about the difference between -do and -jitsu, or which I practice, but it sure doesn't stop them from bullying me constantly.
#17656
This troper took "dragon" to a whole new level when he made it clear that the kid with dried pepper in his lunch might know extra things to do with it. He also notes that bullies are like zombies in the sense that causing unimaginable eye pain to one will not deter the next two mooning the powdered-fire-wielding, annoyed kid. Nor will pouring pepper into the bully's pants do a single thing to the first one's morale.
#17657
I used to be witness to a bit of this. I was a friend of the dragon who'd defuse the situation and keep them from flying off the handle. The friend was a good fella but he had had enough of some peoples' attitudes and might have kicked some serious ass if I hadn't been around to keep him a GentleGiant. That friend of mine is a little short of seven feet tall, you see. And not exactly a beanpole either.
#17658
One of the reasons people would bully me in school is that I had a short fuse and would easily snap, run after them and try hitting them. Subverted in that I never actually got to beat them, and even when I got to throw in a punch or two, it was so weak they just laughed. So... I wanted to show them they should mess with me. It failed because I wasn't able to actually teach them a lesson.
#17659
This Troper takes this to the extreme. Once, I was just a book-addicted nerd who was then picked apart by those assholes simply because I was, as they say, mentally deranged, when in fact I was just a nerdy Bookworm with CloudCuckoolander tendencies. Yeah, you know the rest, becoming a {{Jerkass}} who then lashed back against them, but in my case it went to exchanging sues, letters, property destruction, stealing, {{manipulative bastard}}ry or simply being {{trickster}}s against each other,
giving each other the finger, etc. Damn, it even went to the extent that I even used "unorthodox" methods, even ''stabbing'' a bully (he did not die though, but it did shut him up) and "suicide attempts", which to my advantage manipulated some of them into being compassionate and on my side. They want to torture, but don't have the balls to see a real death, do they? But I'm not a CardCarryingVillain, I simply did all of them subconsiously for the sake of self defence. Seriously, why do these douchebags who are
too dumb to deserve to live keep on being jerkasses on a frigging potential ''psychopath''?!! Yeah, HumansAREBastards. If it was not for getting over it, switching to homeschooling and just plain sheer nerdiness I would have ended up as
Eric Cartman.
#17660
This troper managed to pull off a nonviolent version while also BullyingADragon in turn. I was being annoyed by the new guy at work who said he was "Jarred1, because I'm older, manlier, and not a cocksucker"(for the record,
we share a given name and I'm bi). I told him, "I find it hilarious that you feel some strange need to constantly remind yourself of how much better than me you are. It's like you'd forget if you didn't."
#17661
He shut up for the rest of the day, but the next day he comes in flaunting pictures of his exes to me and everyone else at work. My list of exes is not nearly as long as his. He begins mocking me for having only three to which I said, "Might have something to do with the fact that I can a woman's attention for longer than a week."
#17662
After work that same day, he approaches me and starts calling me a faggot and lists off more reasons why he's Jarred1 and I'm Jarred3(out of only 2 Jarreds). I turn around and I tell him, "You may be older and manlier and the only cock you've ever tasted was your dealer's, but that's fine. That's all well and good. I'm Jarred1, though. Do you know why? Because in only 20 years, I've done more growing up than you have in 25. You're still a little kid begging for attention; just hoping people notice you. Well, I'm going to get you some goddamned attention." I stood on a chair and loudly got everyone's attention, "Everyone, Jarred ___(I forgot his surname) here wants everyone to know how manly and better he is than the rest of you, so please don't say anything to hurt his feelings. He get's very sensitive about that kind of thing." He jerked me from the chair and threated to beat me(he's an MMA fighter). My response? "Hit me, motherfucker. Prove me right. Prove to me and the rest of the world that you can't handle the shit coming from some faggot's mouth." I stepped away and adjusted my stance to give him an opening for a GroinAttack, "Come on. I'm waiting." So, he did and I didn't flinch. Oh, I felt it and it hurt like a bastard, but I wouldn't let him see that. Anyway, he got fired.
#17663
Let me just say I'm astounded. The fact that you could cut him down to size with only your words and then he ends up getting fired (AND you didn't flinch from a kick to the groin) is pretty awesome.
#17664
You don't just show the bullies that you can hurt them. You're supposed to injure them. Badly.
#17665
When This Troper was about eight years old he had to put up with a bully once who used to harass me constantly and then start shedding crocodile tears so I looked like the bad guy, the fact his mother was a teacher didn't help, after several years of harassment, I told him to pretty much screw off and swept his legs out from under him, the detention that time was worth it, but he didn't stop, a year later (after the school had installed security cameras following a drug scare), he walked up to me and started harassing me, he threw a punch, I took it, and responded by hitting him hard enough to knock out a few teeth, since he started it, his tears and mother's advice didn't get him out of it, he stopped bullying and was expelled a few weeks later.
#17666
This troper has a habit of being very lazy and unwilling to fight, mostly due to the fact he'd rather sit there and mock you. Years of bullying and emotional problems, as well as mental instability, have pretty much proven to his friends it's not a good idea to fuck with him. Except one, who mocked him endlessly for being single, and even brought up(falsely) banging this troper's ex. Troper got up, tackled him into a support beam in our friend's basement, and used his work boxcutter to threaten him into shutting his mouth. He still does it, as he's an idiot, but now he's generally doing it from far away.
#17667
This troper was bullied ''brutally'' all throughout school for no other reason than how she looks (which is unusual by American standards, but nothing particularly noteworthy by *insert region of ancestry here* standards). Her arsenal of defense ranged from death glares that have made (saner) people run as if their lives depended on it to vicious comebacks to reporting them to their principals/superintendents/bosses/police/etc (who often joined in, yes, even the police), but nothing worked. Ever. Of course, they only did it from ten feet away or more and let things slide that would have gotten someone without my temper beaten senseless, so they obviously ''knew'' that they were BullyingADragon. Troper really doesn't get why they never stopped. (Oh, and she still gets laughed and shouted at in public places, but again, only from a good distance away. *facepalm*)
#17668
This Troper's friend is very well-built and quick, but her likes and dislikes often get her mocked. She was constantly bullied at school and had to put up with one boy for 4 years. He'd seen her speed and strength in PE, but he insisted on calling her names and constantly punching her in the arm. One day, when we ran into him at the local sports complex, she ''snapped'' on him. She pushed him into the wall, kicked him straight in the gut, and proceeded to start swinging. Knocked out 2 of his teeth, broke his nose, and permanently messed up the left side of his face. He reportedly still has nightmares about her ''3 years later''.
