The long-awaited meeting with the duty warden has taken place. Unfortunately, it wasn't a chance to talk to someone like Kenny or Sam, but Amanda, one of the people slightly lower down in the wardenial team. I don't think she could really do anything directly about any of the issues I raised, but she promised that she would pass it on to the higher management at their next meeting (to which I might be invited as well). After a while I began to feel rather sorry for her.

But this, I think, will be a step in getting ourselves heard rather than just complaining among ourselves. I gave her Chris's little essay to look through - after having fled to Canada I don't think there's much that they can do to him <¦-)

Now that's over for now, and I'm rather exhausted from this practical as well, in fact, and I haven't had dinner. Being a freedom fighter isn't easy, you know.
