I've updated this more than normal today... still. The practical went quickly, I didn't have to do much at all - just pouring things in to bottles and labelling them, basically. We were also taught how to use a spectrophotometer by one of the most useless demonstrators ever.

This afternoon I spent mostly listening to Gamma Ray (who are coloured blue), and had a game of table tennis with a few people in the middle common room - we'll have to do that again. I also got my laundry done - the machines may be more expensive now, but we get (probably unintentionally) free minutes on the dryers, so it works out as being less expensive.

Played chess again with Paul at dinner, where I managed, in a surprising turn of events, to checkmate myself.

I watched two films as well - the first was Princess Blade (NB not "Bride"), provided by Fiona. I didn't really understand it, but it had some good martial arts moments in it. The other one was in Paul's room, where I watched Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" for the second time in three days. I always liked Disney, the film are just as enjoyable now I'm older as they were then (or maybe it's because I'm a student and am impressed by nonsense like that). Unfortunately it has the most tragic part of any Disney film - turning the Beast in to Guybrush Threepwood.
