Once I became a fan of ''{{Persona 3}}'', after a years-long battle with HypeAversion, I had the hardest time trying to convince a friend to try it as well without spoiling anything. Merely mentioning the words "Shin", "Megami" or "Tensei" would've made her eyes glaze over, and using arc phrases like "your true self" and "a persona is a false self that people wear" would've just gotten worried looks and questions about whether I'm feeling okay. But she's an RPG fan and a Marvel fan, and it finally hit me: ''{{Persona 3}}'' is basically ''FinalFantasyX'' meets ''XMenEvolution''. That explanation worked, she tried it and now she's a huge fan too.
