Zig-Zagged with this troper. He was born on February 13th (though it landed on a thursday the year he was born), considers himself to be somewhat lucky. The FridayTheThirteenth remake came out on his birthday, though all but the midnight show turned out to be sold out by the time he and his father (whose favorite number is thirteen) got to the local movie theater, and instead had to see The Pink Panther 2, which turned out to be a much better movie than the Friday The Thirteenth Remake. He also would have gotten SuperSmashBros.Brawl for his birthday the year it came out, though he had to wait an extra month due to delays, though he got the strategy guide with the game when it did come out. His birthday was also the day that the apology gift for the glitched Red Tulip (A Red Tulip item that, if placed in your in-game house, would permanently block that tile, and had accidentally been sent out via Wi-Fi by Nintendo of America) was sent out in Animal Crossing: Wild World.

I turned 13 on Friday the 13th and I ended up being miserable and in tears, though I will not mention how/why. On a lighter note, on the next time my birthday fell on the 13th (though thankfully, it's obviously not my second 13th birthday), my period chose that day to act up. I spent the whole day with agonizing cramps.

subverted: This Troper was born on Jan 13th, and was 3 pounds- most of the doctors said I would die, and focused on saving my twin brother. I'm hale and healthy now, and haven't been in life-threating danger since. for some reason, the 13th always brings me luck, and is my favorite number!

This Troper's 13th birthday was on Friday the 13th. A week either side saw both our cars break down, a water pipe burst, and the computer I'd intended to play my main birthday present (Morrowind) on stopped booting up (of course, the fact that one car was 17 years old, the other was 11 and had driven across Australia a few months prior, the pipe that burst was in an area we were renovating, and the computer was put together by what had to be the most incompetent technicians ever might have all contributed).
