There once was a girl who tried to kill herself because ''a guy dumped her'' and she tried to get the pity of This Troper's friend. Instead she got a 10-minute long furious rant about how she should respect her life and how stupid and weak one has to be to even consider suicide because of a guy and how is said friend sick of drama queens who want to seem troubled for any cost and how all attention whores should die in a fire.

My dad was having a really crappy day. But he took in stride. Then my sister mentioned that she wanted to get a puppy. My mom is allergic to dogs and my sister is a bit of a spoiled brat, who usually gets what she wants. When this happened he completely FLIPPED OUT. Looking back on the incident is funny but it was creepy to watch.

This troper saw an injustice. Later in the day he felt the need to speak about it with a colleague.

Do not get this troper started when it comes to certain friends. He has been known to take one incident or another to heart, before ranting for well on a half-hour or more.

This troper (Beta Maxis) often used to check up on his younger brother in his room before said brother moved out (small age difference between us). Sometimes it would be to ask something. Once this troper wanted to know the name of a song he was playing but also found him playing an MMORPG in an area this troper never saw before, so he opened by asking his brother about it. He responded by saying "We both know you don't really care about that, and it's Song of the South." This troper went back to his room, typed the song name down down before he forgot it, and went right back in his room and said "By the way I've come in here to talk with nothing to ask about many times THANK YOU VERY GOD D**N MUCH!!!!!" at the top of this troper's lungs and left. Not much of a rant but the emotional explosion was there full force. Also the loudest case of (biting) sarcasm this troper knows.

This Troper was having a terrible week. Like, everything was terrible. On Friday I... knocked over my rootbeer while pouring it. My sister said for me to clean it up and I punched her in the face. A second later I wondered why the heck I did it.

I guess because she thought did it on purpose.

This Troper was once at a meeting that had lasted. all. freaking. night. Like we had started at 6:30 and it was now 11:30 with no end in sight. Everyone was tense and pissed off at each other. One person got interrupted, then two, and then the third time, This Troper snapped and read the interrupter's beads in a rant that worked in anti-oppression theory and passive-aggressive I-language, and concluded with the interrupter storming out of the room... which left the meeting sufficiently productive to end within fifteen minutes.

This troper can go on these about ''anything'', given that she has a HairTriggerTemper. This troper's mother, however, takes it up to eleven and will go on one of these if you disagree with her about anything.

Whenever someone talks about how "teenagers are whiny brats", it triggers a nerve deep down inside. In fact, I can't stand negative stereotyping or generalizations of any kind.

This Troper normally has a high threshold for anger, but once it's been reach, he can go over the deep end and call someone out for something they didn't do.

This troper turned into LewisBlack when he found a knot in his dental floss. To be fair, the knot was ''on the roll''.

My sister is under a delusion that I can Apparate, because she apparently expects me to open the front door within five seconds even though I have to hear the knock, pause my music, get out of bed, and walk out of my room and to the door. Last time this happened, I reminded her that I can't fucking Apparate and she talked over the top of me, asking whether I fed the cat. I then went on a rant about how she does fuck all to take care of the house.

This Troper had one of these in 8th grade, as part of a mandatory seating plan, This Troper was caught between the two loudest girls in class, in the loudest class in the school (read: heard half-way across the grounds), being possibly the only quiet one in the class, after a stressfull day of potentially permanent ear damage, I finally blew my top, screaming at the louder girl of the pair, eventually, gaining praise from my English teacher, because she really needed to shut her mouth, and an explaination from my Homeroom teacher, saying she thought my quietness would rub off on them.

My health class in 11th grade was by far the most uncomfortable, awkward class I've ever taken, with most of the kids being wildly inappropriate, in addition to being druggies in the first place (which admittedly led to some amusing discussion during the anti-drug parts). One kid in the class just would Not. Shut. Up. The teacher was losing patience with him, and he'd respond with some snide, flippant comment, trying to be funny but generally just being crass and obnoxious. The teacher got so annoyed that she assigned extra homework, and one kid just flipped out. He started screaming at the kid for being so obnoxious and for giving us more homework in a class that he was already failing. The first kid asked something like an innocent "Why is everybody picking on me?" and that point, I exploded too. I turned around and just screamed "BECAUSE YOU WON'T SHUT UP. EVERY SINGLE DAY YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SAY THE STUPIDEST SHIT AND I'M TIRED OF IT. SHUT YOUR FREAKING MOUTH FOR ONCE, YOU INSUFFERABLE MORON". Everyone in the class started yelling at him too until the teacher finally sent him to the dean and let the rest of us cool down (she ended up not giving us all the extra homework anyway, but the resentment against that kid had just been growing all semester that it felt great to just let it all out).

Also, happened to me while playing WoW a while ago. I'm generally fairly calm and I put up with obnoxious players. If I don't like their behavior, I simply leave without causing a ton of drama. But I was leveling my dwarf mage and I got a random Ramparts run with a DK tank. The first pull was rough on the healer and the tank took massive damage, so I checked the tank out and noticed that he was in Frost spec in Frost Presence. I said "Hey tank, I noticed that you're in the wrong spec and presence. The spec shouldn't be a huge deal, it's an easy instance, but you really need to be in Blood Presence". The change between Frost and Blood being the tanking presences was fairly recent, so I figured he just might not have known. He ignored me, pulled the second group, and we barely made it. The healer was healing like mad and he was the only reason nobody died. The healer said "Dude, go into Blood Presence, you can't keep threat and you're impossible to heal". The tank responds "i do mor dmg in frost presence, duh" and pulled the next two groups at once. He was slaughtered and the healer tried to keep us up as much as possible, but it was too much. The tank started ranting how the healer was terrible; I just snapped (I have 3 healers at 85, and I know what a thankless job healing can be). I started screaming at him (by that, I mean typing in caps, of course) about how he was a moron who didn't listen and can't tank for shit and an absolutely garbage player who blah blah blah blah (you get the gist), and I dropped the group. I put up with mistakes and people who don't know how to play, but I absolutely can't stand when you try to helpfully correct their mistakes and you're met with hostility, and this instance just set me off like never before.
