I sit both on and in chairs. However, it is difficult to sit on most chairs because they either require sitting ''in'' them, or are not stable enough to sit ''on''. However, I mostly recline or, yes, ''sit'' on a couch, with a DoubleSubversion- Each end section is a one-armed, detachable chair!
