When this troper took an art history class, the professor introduced early Christian art by providing modern Christian art to compare it with. Examples included Jesus welcoming someone's golden retriever into heaven, the standard picture of Jesus surrounded by small children, and one image the professor jokingly called "California Jesus."

This Troper attends an anime convention in which one person regularly cosplays as Jesus. He is a very nice guy, and even tries to mediate with the 'the-end-is-near-repent!' christians who come to protest each year.

This troper is a highly political atheist, and has been quoted as saying, "Look, truth is truth. If Jesus ever existed then he was wrong to say 'I am the Son of God'. That doesn't make 'love your enemies' less true."
