In scout camp, several of the scouts, including this troper, used bug spray and hand sanitizer to light his hands on fire. One scout lit his fist on fire, then punched someone else, getting some burning hand sanitizer on the other scout and lighting him on fire.

That's all? One time at camp a scout managed to set his whole tent on fire with a flint and steel wool.

I once ignited a pan using nothing but butter. Shame that I was about to toss in the eggs.

This troper has a recipe that basically amounts to "put pan and a little oil over high heat. Start grease fire. Kill heat. Add food. Keep fire extinguisher handy."

i had a smart idea a few days ago to put some rubbing alcohol into some melted wax that i was playing with, it burns quite good and sticks to everything. it works like napalm but only while it's still liquid, getting it to light while solid is tricky, requiring either a primer of alcohol or a very trusty lighter that wont go out for a few minutes. but please don't try this at home, of course.

One word: Chemistry class. My teacher had a habit of setting just about everything on fire...causing random explosions in the process.
