This troper considers herself
unfortunate to fall under this trope. While doing a few exercises she considered fairly easy in her Wellness class in high school, a few of the guys in her class decided to point out that for her weight, she should be doing lighter exercises. (They assumed she weighed 120, not 150, pounds, and she was lifting half her weight on the machine.) So she switched to a different machine each time they said that, embarrassed that they noticed but uninterested in lifting less for the sake of not being noticed. Eventually they noticed that she could bench press a whole lot more than half my weight, and it led to a rumor that she could bench press 200 pounds (she could only do 140 at the time). A week after the rumor surfaced, one guy started hitting on her and another asked her to the winter ball.
