This Troper had a female classmate who was an avid rock climber and held a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. Despite being short and a little plain-featured, I thought she was the hottest thing ever, and still have a thing for tough, capable women.

This troper was on her school's lacrosse, volleyball, and archery teams at various points, and played several other sports recreationaly on a fairly regular basis. She was also on her high school's cheerleading/dance squad and was on every homecoming and prom court she was eligible (she tied for prom queen her senior year).

This troper's wife can lift him with one arm, fairly effortlessly.

This troper will never, ever, EVER be with a DistressedDamsel type of girl. Ever.
#65146
This troper finds tough, strong, athletic girls ''extremely attractive.''

This troper is a gay man, but when I look at female characters like Xena, or She-Ra, I know I'm missing out on something pretty awesome.

This troper was challenged to an arm wresling match by a rather petite girl. He declined, because he was worried he would end up unfairly kicking her ass at it, but she reassured him that she's quite strong. So he gave it his best, and ''she was right.'' This would be a turn-on for him, except said girl is only in her mid-to-upper-teens, and he's 22.

This troper considers herself unfortunate to fall under this trope. While doing a few exercises she considered fairly easy in her Wellness class in high school, a few of the guys in her class decided to point out that for her weight, she should be doing lighter exercises. (They assumed she weighed 120, not 150, pounds, and she was lifting half her weight on the machine.) So she switched to a different machine each time they said that, embarrassed that they noticed but uninterested in lifting less for the sake of not being noticed. Eventually they noticed that she could bench press a whole lot more than half my weight, and it led to a rumor that she could bench press 200 pounds (she could only do 140 at the time). A week after the rumor surfaced, one guy started hitting on her and another asked her to the winter ball.

A more fun example about the same troper: She and a group of fellow tropers were discussing doing an AbridgedSeries together, and decided they would be a FiveManBand. They established TheHero, TheLancer, and TheSmartGuy pretty quickly, and then it came down to who was TheBigGuy or TheChick. They wanted her to be TheChick because she was the only chick in the group. She suggested a test of strength to earn the title of TheBigGuy: arm wrestling. She won. Shortly thereafter, one of the guys asked her out, and though it is very possible that it is not related at all, he does seem to have a thing for strong girls....

This troper, according to numerous people.... O.O

This troper zig-zags this trope (she's usually classified as TheBigGuy or GeniusBruiser). On one hand, the guys in her gym class were impressed with her, because she worked harder than any other of the girls in her gym class (who usually didn't even try), and she easily aced all of her finals. On the other hand, most guys in this troper's school are turned off by women that are stronger/smarter than them, so she's usually dateless. But she's always proud of her strength!
