I suffer from this, and I don't care. I haven't quite gotten to the level of the TerryPratchett metafootnote, but I'm close-I have twice put footnotes within footnotes.

This troper is already addicted to parenthesis (as well as dashes - something he learned on TheOtherWiki - for variety). But while doing a work for diagramming class, he decided to employ footnotes in his texte. Causes being avoiding an overly large text, providing context, and for most of the notes, cracking jokes.

This troper is exactly the same way, for exactly the same reasons. Though they're usually dryly sardonic notes on the subject rather than jokes.

Whenever this troper reads footnotes on this site, he reads them in Tentomon's voice.

I take a long time to read a book asigned at my school because they are 1) Not in my origanal language and 2) usually clasics with up to 5 footnote's a page.
