On a forum I frequent someone started discussing Neptune's Pride and mentioned how, in a recent Neptune's Pride game they played, they had a ChronicBackstabbingDisorder. A little while later, when we were playing a Neptune's Pride game for the people on that forum, guess who one of the first people I wanted to ally with was. Now guess who the first person to betray me was (in fact, she was actually allied with someone else throughout the whole game, and just pretending to be allied with us). I was ''surprised'' by this.

Ohh, Neptune's Pride. This troper's first game lasted three weeks, and she was the one doing the chronic backstabbing. She claimed one player attacked her planets (completely false), turned the galaxy against him, made a secret alliance with another player to attack from the south. As soon as that was done, she promptly turned round and carved up her former ally's planets, winning the game.

A girl I know and her friends are prone to this. She was my friend a few years ago. I fell out with her after she tried to turn our group against one of our friends (lets call her A) cause she was close friends with her ex boyfriend. A few other friends sided with me and A, cause we thought she was wrong. Then her and her friends made other friends and eventually they turned their group against another girl she was friends with over a reason I am really not sure of.She then needed someone else to pick on, and turned against another girl., who did actually fight back but made herself look bad cause they acted like the ultimate good. They got bored of her eventually and made friends with a girl who was in an abusive relationship, helped her get free of him and just to be mean they told her boyfriend where to find her. They then became her friend again, and she eventually began to trust her again, then made up rumours and got her to fight with a friend of hers just for the fun of it. They also turned everyone against a group of people (actually, more like two or three), just for the fun of it. They are unbelievably sick.

Every game of Uno I play eventually devolves into me playing as much draw 2 cards as I can.

this troper had to deal with a (now ex-)friend with a bad case of this, which her then fiance/now ex-husband also had a bad case of. being an omnimod of a group they use to be active with (until they both got banned for threatening to hack into several accounts of other users, soliciting minors for threesomes IRL, and going on active smear campaigns against anyone they even thought wronged them) I got to see most of the dirty details of how she and her now ex acted using the PM system in the group's Java Chat. amusingly everyone got to see the details of their messy divorce because their ChronicBackstabbingDisorder extended to each other as well once they started cheating on each other and both got caught at it. the ex-friend has tried more than once to become a friend again, but after seeing all the chatlogs of the kind of crap she pulled and finding out what she'd said about this troper there's no chance she'll ever be trusted again, even if she seemed trustworthy for many years before she started pulling bullshit.
