CharacterTics
#21009
This Tropers hands are ''always'' in motion. Sometimes she plays with her rings, cracks her knukles or pinches her lip (which results in patches of missing skin from time to time), but usually she just twists and bends them around, or makes a clawing gesture, locking her fingers. She was also told that she moves her eybrows a lot while talking.
#21010
This troper has long hair that often covers his eyes. I have a distinctive head-flick--which many people have commented on--to get it out of my eyes. Only problem? It's not always necessary when I do it. Also I play with my ring for little to no reason. Granted I have mild autism, which can cause certain small "rituals" like this and others which I have to arise, as a means of control.
#21011
This troper wears glasses, and tends to reposition them...alot. Like the above example, I do this even when it's completely unnecessary. Also the running of my hand through my hair. Sometimes both in sequence.
#21012
This troper tends to trace five point stars on surfaces when bored. I also chew on things when I'm thinking (nails, pens, my lower lip etc.)
#21013
This troper traces the numbers on digital clocks one by one with her eyes, and if she's close enough, with her fingers- and the end of one number always has to line up with the beginning of the next, or she freaks out a little. People have commented that her eyes twitch around whenever she's near a digital clock- that's why.
#21014
This Troper twirls a lock of her hair around her finger and sometimes tucks it into her glasses and pulls it back out repeatedly, particularly when she is stressed (often when she is taking a test and doesn't know an answer) or daydreaming. She also sometimes rocks back and forth when she sings and traces shapes on tables with her fingers.
#21015
This Troper has a tendency to rock back and forth lightly and as of recently, has begun to jerk his head to the side for no reason. It's like something is wrong with his neck and the jerking "fixes" it, but it clearly doesn't. It hasn't stopped him from doing it anyway.
#21016
TappitydaNoggin tends to:
#21017
Run his hand through his hair when worried, sick, or thinking
#21018
Tap out rhythms on desks and tables at ever increasing speeds.Eventually the urge to do so builds up in the wrist until it becomes more like bashing his hand against the table
#21019
Shiver when it's not cold, just for an instant
#21020
Play with his lower lip
#21021
Crack his knuckles, loudly and repeatedly
#21022
Vocalize when bored, mostly gibberish or loud moans
#21023
Rub his shoulder scar when it's cold
#21024
Click his tongue to the rhythms he's beating out with his hand
#21025
Among other things
#21026
If I'm bored and I get something in my hands, there is a 95% chance that I will toss in the air. Don't know if it's habit or ritual, but my parents and professors are quite annoyed by it.
#21027
I have a tendency of stretching all my limbs at the same time if i feel slow-ish.
#21028
This troper snaps his fingers whenever something goes wrong.
#21029
This troper twists their hair behind their head, a bit like how some people curl their hair around a finger, when they're bored. Also likes to pick at nails and tilt head from side to side like a curious chicken while on the computer.
#21030
This troper has a (bad) habit of chewing hangnails. Ironically, her boyfriend keeps a toothpick in his mouth to prevent him from biting ''his'' nails.
#21031
This Troper is taller than most people he meets. But instead of tilting his entire head toward smaller people he generally just looks down as if through his nose, not on purpose of course.
#21032
Hoo boy, do I have a lot of tics. Like another Troper at the top of this page, when my hair is particularly long I tend to twirl a lock of hair on the left side of my head around my finger. I snap my fingers a lot when I'm trying to remember something. There's a little thing I do (a bit hard to describe) every time I reach the top of the stairs that lead to my room. I fiercely scratch the back of my head when I'm particularly irritated (my family ''hates'' it when I do this). I pull on my fingers to make them crack, and crack my neck a lot. I bite my nails a lot, and tend to bite off a bit "strip" and stick it between my two front teeth with my tongue. And these are all ''just the things I can remember.''
