I was fairly young when I started wearing my lens-less "Molly glasses"
real name is nothing like Molly, I just associated glasses with the names Molly and Emily for some reason), after finding them on the street, but until I was an adult I didn't think of an appropriate response to remarks on how "childish" this habit is. My reasoning now runs like this: ''People wear all sorts of clothing just for how it makes them look, why should glasses be strictly because you '''need''' to wear them?'' So now I'm over 30 and will occasionally wear my glasses in public (say, while shopping) for no reason but that I felt like it that day.
they're mostly like a thinking cap for when I want extra incentive to write.
