This Troper's college buddy put one in mind of a Viking - long hair, big beard, tendency to go off on long rambling stories about whatever. Had a tendancy to treat his friends to pitchers of beer... and a pitcher to himself. Subverted in that he was also incredibly well-read, and his degree was in Theatre.

This Troper is the Big Guy in my little group as well as the Big Eater. Though, It's more Stout Strength than anything else. A source of constant jokes at all times, but hey we all need to laugh at ourselves or the world's no fun.

When my girlfriend first met my father, he actually scared her with his loud voice and big personality, particularly his habit of pounding on the table in front of him when he laughs. He's also one of the sweetest, nicest people you'd ever hope to meet. Actually, most of my extended family, especially on my father's side, tends to be comprised of boisterous bruisers. If I've had a couple drinks, and a crowd that I can entertain, I occasionally morph into one, myself.

This troper does reenactment grade swordsmanship classes with friends. It was recently brought up that while other people give the occasional grunt of shouts when cutting with the heavier weapons, I just laugh.

This troper is a huge, loud party animal. My friends consider me the center of fun and excitement. I'm also a tough guy, who can't be too rough with his friends, or else he'll hurt them badly.
