Really, who never met someone like this? One of the most recent encounters with this type this troper remembers is her boss's son. He would come to her to complain about his father as if I were his personal analyst. I would help him through his teenage angst and listen to his dreams and secrets... only to learn later on that the little bastard had ratted me out to his father about me making a joke about his father one day, something he learnt from a co-worker of mine whose open goal was to torpedo me. Thankfully, his father knew I was simply joking and that what I said was nothing serious. Now, this troper boss's son and said co-worker are the best of friends - although he would sometimes talk shit about her to this troper - and I refuse to give any time of the day to any of them. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.
